Do I need experience? No. Beginner-friendly trips are regularly posted.

What gear do I need? Helmet, dependable headlamps, gloves, sturdy clothing (not cotton), and suitable footwear.

What is the NSS? NSS stands for National Speleological Society; they promote cave science, conservation, and exploration.

What is the SCCI? SCCI is the Southeastern Cave Conservancy Inc., working to protect caves through conservation and education.
